What is Reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the principal that a “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.
If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. Reiki treatments can be received using two different types of energy, Physical or Emotional, eliminating problems which manifest in these forms.
Reiki works to balance the Chakra’s in the body enabling the body to heal itself, it has similarities to spiritual healing with regards to things that people feel when they are having a Reiki treatment, many people see Reiki energy as having divine origins. Reiki reinforces the connection to your soul, and it feels amazing.
The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words “Rei” meaning God wisdom / universal and “Ki” meaning life force.
